PTCL wireless broadband EVO now in Peshawar

Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited formally launched its wireless broadband service “EVO” at Peshawar to facilitate the customers through immediate uplinks and high speed download capability. PTCL EVO a superior 3G experience that gives freedom to roam freely in Peshawar without any hassle of wires with auto switchover to 1X in 450 MHz CDMA coverage areas.

To formally start the service, the regional management of PTCL Peshawar organized launching ceremony. Executive Vice President Business Zone North, Abdul Sattar Naeem was the chief guest on the occasion.

 

Abdul Sattar Naeem inaugurated the EVO service and also made a detailed visit to the newly established Service Support Centre, Peshawar. He also paid tributes to the vision of PTCL President Walid Irshaid for introducing many new services on PTCL landline and Vfone network.

He also appreciated the unprecedented work done by the technical and commercial teams led by Muhammad Nasrullah CTO and Naveed Saeed SEVP respectively. As its has now become possible as a result of their hard work and dedication, that residents in Peshawer can now experience fastest internet with download speed of up to 3.1 Mbps with wireless roaming facility, variety of pre-paid and post-paid options along with accessing rich media applications like video streaming, web casts, online games and much more.

 

SEVP Commercial Naveed Saeed said EVO launch in Peshawar is a step further in PTCL efforts to connect our customers with the world via internet and manifestation of company’s commitment to provide its customers with best telecom services at their doorstep.

 

Naeem at the occasion also revealed that the customers would receive more services, better care, and efficient trouble shooting and friendly environment from PTCL in the days to come.
