Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have pitched their candidates for the ongoing 12th presidential elections of Pakistan. Wajihuddin Ahmed nominated by PTI and Mamnoon Hussain by PLM N are in the running. The election is marred by controversy after the PML N got the date of the election changed by the Supreme Court followed by the Pakistan People’s Party boycotting the elections as a result of this decision. Mamnoon Hussain seems to be the more popular candidate as he has been nominated by the ruling party. Voting ends at 3 pm today.
